Lesson 1: Water into Wine

Readings: John 2: 1-11

Have you ever been a guest at a wedding? Then you would have enjoyed getting dressed in your best clothes, seeing the bride and groom and, of course, having a lovely meal. A wedding is a very special occasion. It is carefully planned beforehand and the happy couple want to make it a perfect day.

Lesson 2: A boy healed

Readings: John 4: 43-54

News of Jesus’ first miracle spread very quickly. Soon afterwards, Jesus went down to Judea for the Feast of the Passover. Others from Galilee were at the Feast, too, and they saw Jesus do more miracles there. This lesson is about an important man in Galilee who had heard about these miracles. He had a problem with which no one could help him, except the Lord Jesus.

Lesson 3: Blind eyes opened

Readings: Mark 10: 46-52

Ben and Becky’s school was collecting money so that a guide dog could be trained and given to a blind man in their town. The dog could help Mr Smith on his journey to work, guide him to the stores and to many other places. Being blind nowadays is not easy, but there are many ways in which blind people can be helped. This was not the case in the days of the Lord Jesus.

Lesson 4: Ten men with leprosy healed

Readings: Luke 17: 11-19

I’m sure you can remember a time when you felt like Becky! You didn’t feel well, you had to stay in bed, and worst of all, none of your friends could even come and see you, in case they caught the nasty spots too!
